INC Membership

As churches gather around the INC’s theological distinctives, we want to support healthy pastoral work and advance church-planting initiatives. To accomplish this, churches and pastors have the opportunity to join in as members of the INC. Recognizing that each church is unique in its approach to and capacity for partnership, we offer two types of involvement with the INC.

Full membership in the INC will require that:

• The pastor holds complete agreement with the INC’s theological identity.
• The church (via decision of its leadership) agrees to cooperate with the INC.
• The church devotes at least 1% of its annual budget to the INC’s work.
• The pastor serves as a voting member of the INC board. 
• The pastor and church receive unanimous approval from the existing INC board.

Associate membership in the INC will require that:

• The pastor holds complete agreement with the INC’s theological identity.
• The pastor serves as a non-voting member of the INC board.
• The pastor and church receive unanimous approval from the existing INC board.
